Hi, I'm Evey. I'm 36 and from the midwest. I've been in the furry community and chronically online since I was about 12 years old. I'm auDHD, bipolar, bisexual, and nonbinary (demigirl flavor). I've been married to my partner, Matt, for over 10 years. We have 3 cats, Amelia, Rory, Beano, and 1 dog named Ivy.I love to make art of a similar body type to myself, fat. No kink shaming here but, my art is not meant for you to consume sexually in any shape or form. My main goal is to empower myself and others struggling with their body image. I want to show the world that fat art can be just as beautiful as any other.

1997 - 2002

  • 1997: Learned how to use a DOS computer at age 9.

  • 2000: Chronically online.

  • Spent a lot of time in AOL chat rooms making friends.

  • 2001: Played Neopets when it first started.

  • Started making shop layouts and user pages, learned HTML. Made my own website.

  • 2002: Started drawing furries after seeing Dark Cloud 2 in a magazine.

  • Got into anime.

2003-2004

  • 2003: Started going by shiba online, after my neopets username, shibaguchi (which was from a Japanese name generator lol)

  • Started making AIM themes on mytheme.com, joined the forum, and slowly got better at graphic design.

  • Joined deviantart and scanned in my terrible pencil drawings. Got frustrated that I couldn't draw as cool as my friends and deleted everything.

  • 2004: Came back lol

  • Joined a fairly oddparents oekaki board.

  • Started drawing digitally with a mouse.

  • Made my first Sonic OC, Taleria

  • Met other furries and made my first real furry OC named Rawry.

  • Made my first sona, shiba, a shiba inu.

  • Learned how to use Jasc Paint Shop Pro.

2005-2018

  • 2005: Tried to make a comic and failed.

  • Joined The Harvesters furry group on livejournal.

  • Learned how to use Open Canvas from it. Made more furry OCs.

  • Scanned in pencil sketches and primarily used the cut lineart tool with a mouse to line and color.

  • 2006: Got a Wacom tablet for my birthday.

  • 2007: Started doing Gaia Online commissions under the name Shabiba

  • 2008 Went to college for website design.

  • 2009-2014-ish: Dropped out and got super emo and quit art after my tablet broke.

  • 2015: Got a new tablet, still really liked using the cut style with Open Canvas

  • Started using the name Evey.

  • 2016-2018: Long stint of little to no art. Lots of mindless gaming.

2019 - Now

  • 2019: Got an iPad and procreate.

  • Started new Twitter account and spent a lot of time fiddling with it.

  • Made it my goal to put more non-fetish fat art into the world.

  • 2020: Got to 50 followers on Twitter.

  • Created Evey, my mascot.

  • Diagnosed with Bipolar 1 after a visit to the psych ward. Had a really rough time.

  • Created Venus, a new sona for myself

  • Commissioned Jenetixx for my first fursuit (of Venus).

  • 2021: Stopped drawing as much for a couple years while I figured out meds.

  • Got diagnosed with ADHD

  • Now (2024): Finally on a good medication regimen and doing well mentally for the first time in my life!
